I enjoying being a translator – translating developer speak to people speak and vice versa. I like looking at the same problem from different perspectives and finding the optimal solution.
In my day job, I am an enterprise architect. It has trained me to separate architecture from solutions. I am still working on it, but by keeping them separate I can afford to be open minded – and that is very liberating.
